This 581 series y-strainer is for use with steam and water. In addition, it meets the standards for ASSE, CSA, FM, NSF, UL, ULC, USC, and WQA. It measures 5½ inch height x 5 inch length, with a spiral wound stainless steel, graphite filled seal.
