Unmounted Flap Wheels

Unmounted flap wheels work with bench grinders and pedestal grinders to smooth, polish, and debur surfaces. Unmounted flap wheels require a mandrel before they can be installed. Flap wheels have a series of abrasive flaps that smooth using the side of the wheel rather than the face, making them a good choice for cleaning edges, inside pipes, and hard-to-reach areas. Overlapping flaps exposes fresh abrasive as the abrasive wears away.
