Ring Terminals
Ring terminals fasten around bolts or threaded connection posts to create semipermanent connections between wires and circuit points. Also known as ring connectors, they connect power or ground wires to post-type connections in high-vibration applications, such as automobiles, airplanes, and industrial equipment. They have a barrel-shaped body where the stripped conductors fit into. Conductors are either crimped or soldered in the barrel and have a round, tongue-style terminal that's flat and has mounting holes for fastening to connection points.
