These heating area values are estimated based on a temperate climate that requires 45 Btus. In warmer or colder areas, these units may provide a larger or smaller heating area.

Ignition TypeContinuous spark ignitors have an ignition rod that continuously emits sparks while activated. Direct spark ignitors generate a spark that directly ignites the fuel in the heater.

Intermittent spark ignitors create a spark that stays active while the burner runs. Interrupted spark ignitors create a spark that's active for a brief time at the start of the operating cycle but turns off once there's a flame.
