It is more rigid and stretches less than polypropylene strapping, allowing it to retain tension over time. Polyester strapping is stronger than polypropylene strapping, but has less overall strength than stainless steel strapping. Wrap strapping around a box, bundle, or item, pull the strapping tight using a tensioner, then use a sealing tool to secure a seal that ensures strapping does not come loose. Wheeled carts allow strapping and tools to be transported around a facility and hold all the items necessary to bundle and seal strapping.
