Pipe Thread Sealant Tape
Pipe thread sealant tape wraps around pipe threads to ease assembly and seal the connection against leaks. This tape is made of PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) which provides lubrication for tightening and loosening. The higher the tape density the greater the sealing power.
This roll of black, polyethylene tape is for HVAC units and for wrapping pipe, and can be used in temperatures ranging from -30 Degrees F to 200 Degrees F. It measures 30 metres in length and 48 millimetres in width, with a thickness of 10.0 mil. This tape is not for use with gas lines.
