Pipe & Conduit Thread Taps
Pipe and conduit thread taps come in thread standards and sizes that are used on parts in pipe and conduit systems because they allow mated parts to form a pressure-tight seal. These taps create or repair internal threads in pipe, conduit, and fittings so they can mate with parts that have matching external threads. They are turned with a tap wrench for manual tapping applications or installed into a toolholder on a machine for machine tapping applications.

This 5323 series pipe tap has a bright (uncoated) finish, and has fractional inch measurements. It is non-coolant through, has right hand direction with a 3¼ inch length. Plus it has five flutes.
