Pedestal-Mount Flexible Impeller Utility Pumps

Pedestal-mount flexible impeller utility pumps have an exposed drive shaft and couple to a motor of a compatible horsepower rating using a belt or pulley. Flexible impeller pumps induce minimal shear pressure on fluids and create minimal pulsation during operation for a smoother flow rate, suitable for handling a variety of fluids such as water, non-abrasive solutions, slurries, delicate liquids, viscous liquids, and liquids with suspended solids. These are self-priming pumps and need an initial prime to create a proper seal and transfer liquids from a source below the pump's inlet.
