Hook & Loop Surface-Conditioning Discs
Hook-and-loop surface-conditioning discs prepare surfaces for welding or finishing. They stick to a compatible backing pad and can be quickly removed and replaced without tools, which reduces downtime and increases productivity. Unlike adhesive-backed discs, hook-and-loop discs can be reused after they've been removed from the backing pad. Surface-conditioning abrasives remove surface imperfections and create a smooth surface ready for finishing in a single step rather than using different abrasives for removing and finishing. They're made of nonwoven material with an integrated abrasive that removes mill scale, surface rust, weld spatter, paint, and epoxy.
