Hex Keys
Hex keys (also known as Allen wrenches) have six-sided tips that fit into a hexagonal drive of socket head cap screws, set screws, socket screw plugs, and other hex-drive fasteners. They grip the drive securely to turn screws and bolts while resisting cam out (slipping out of the head) in medium- to high-torque applications.
This hex key is not insulated. The steel handle is 4 1/10 inch long, is black and has a plain style/type. It meets the standards for ASME B18.3. In addition, it is made of alloy steel, has a SAE measurement type, is corrosion-resistant, has a black oxide finish, plus it is not non-sparking, is not non-magnetic, and is not tether ready.
